DAY 1
ARRIVE IN ZAGREB
Arrive at Zagreb, Croatia’s capital and largest city. Upon arrival, you will be assisted and then transferred to the hotel for check-in and dinner.
DAY 2
ZAGREB-PLITVICE
After breakfast, head for the Zagreb City Tour where you will get to travel back in time by exploring the city’s historical center known us the “Fortified Upper Town”, home to St. Mark’s Church that is known for its multi-coloured roof, the Museum of Broken Relationships, the Cathedral (Kaptol), the Cemetery of Mirogoj, the Croatian National Theatre and the University. In the afternoon, it is time to say goodbye to Zagreb, and head to the enchanting Plitvice National Parks. In the evening, you will have your dinner at the hotel.
DAY 3
PLITVICE
After breakfast, get ready for a day packed with activities at Croatia’s most scenic park, hosting an extensive maze of 16 lakes at different levels but they are all joined in a series of cascading waterfalls that gleam in brilliant shades of emerald green and sapphire blue. The natural barriers, pools, cascades, caves, and crags are a result of thousands of years of interaction between water and the dolomite rocks and limestones. The Plitvice Lakes National Park is on the UNESCO’s list of world natural heritage and is a natural phenomenon of rare and unique beauty.
In the evening, you will enjoy dinner and spend the night in Plitvice.
DAY 4
PLITVICE-DUBROVNIK
After breakfast, head to Dubrovnik by coach. Have dinner & spend the night in Dubrovnik.
DAY 5
DUBROVNIK
The day is all yours to do whatever you please; lose yourself in "The Pearl of the Adriatic"; the old city of Dubrovnik listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site which still preserves a charming gothic style, while being home to palaces, fountains, monasteries, Baroque & Renaissance churches. And it gets only better because the Old City overlooks the Adriatic Sea, so one can easily finish the tour then take a dip in the sea. Fancy that! Have dinner & spend the night in Dubrovnik.
DAY 6
DUBROVNIK-SPLIT
After breakfast, head for a sightseeing tour to explore Dubrovnik that is included on the UNESCO’s List of World Cultural Heritage. You will be visiting the Franciscan monastery with Europe’s third oldest pharmacy, the Rector’s Palace and the Cathedral. In the afternoon, it is time to bid farewell to historical Dubrovnik as you will be heading to Split by driving along the Adriatic Coast and the Neretva River Delta. Have dinner and spend the night in Split.
DAY 7
SPLIT-TROGIR-ZADAR
After breakfast, head for a morning sightseeing tour of Split where you will visit the Diocletian’s, Jupiter’s Temple and the Cathedral. Split is a blend of ancient and modern, home to one the world’s most impressive Roman monuments the “Diocletian’s Palace”, and a cool place to just get around, go crazy shopping, or party hard. It is also a transport hub to nearby islands where you can just chill-out on turquoise beaches, or go for Adrenalin pumping activities such as river rafting in Cetina River. Then depart to Trogir, a picturesque medieval town, and visit the Cathedral of St. Lawrence. Continue all the way to the city of Zadar to have our dinner and overnight there.
DAY 8
ZADAR-ZAGREB
After breakfast, head for a morning sightseeing tour where you will visit the Roman Forum and St. Donatus Church a magnificent monument of Romanesque architecture. For adrenalin pumping activities seekers, Zadar boasts some of the world’s best places for sea kayaking. In the afternoon, leave Zadar in the direction of Zagreb. Have dinner and spend the night in Zagreb.
DAY 9
DEPART FOR HOME!
It is time to say goodbye. After breakfast, you will be transferred to Zagreb Airport,
departing to Istanbul to head back to Muscat.
