Day 1
Budapest, Hungary
Your house in Budapest awaits. Meet your Trip Leader and prepare for two days to get down and Danube (that be the river) with twin cities, Buda and Pest. Check out Heros’ Square, Parliament House, the National Palace, Fisherman's Bastion and swanky Andrássy Ave. After gorging on goulash, cabbage rolls and dumplings, roll into bed.

Put down your Rubik's Cube and take on a city with enough baroque, neoclassical and art nouveau architecture to keep you puzzled for hours.
Day 3
Budapest to Timisoara, Romania
Today we're off to Timisoara. Some call it Little Vienna, but we'll leave it to you to describe. Get oriented on a walking tour before getting lost in the Old Town neighbourhood. Don't miss the Romanian Orthodox Cathedral. It's more than just a photo opp and especially ogle-worthy at night. End your day by eating something you've never had (i.e. anything local).

Day 4
Timisoara to Bucharest
Today it's time for Paris' little sister aka Bucharest. Get your bearings on a guided driving tour before splitting off to find some more local cuisine to try.

Over to you. We've cleared your schedule. See the melting pot of 300-year-old churches, communist-era apartments and modern glass and steel architecture. Kick back with the locals or soak up the history in the old-school Lipscani District.

Bucharest to Brasov
Trade in the scary for fairytale-like Brasov. Cue mountain scenery, cobbled stone streets and some of the best food to be found in this corner of Eastern Europe. Get your bearings on a guided walking tour before we let you loose to explore.

Brasov to Cluj-Napoca

Cluj-Napoca to Kosice, Slovakia
The first ever coat of arms, longest city street and largest church in Slovakia can all be found in Kosice. Also: a ton of palaces and a singing fountain. Get the low down on a walking tour this afternoon before ambling down your own path to find some Burekas - sweet and salty pastries or one of Kosice's best pale ale pivos.

Kosice to Krakow, Poland
This morning: see the ruins of Spis Castle. Then get down with nature at the foot of the Tatra Mountains. Zakopane next. The day is yours to wander the valley and load up on epic landscape photos. Compare shots over dinner with the group. Arrive into Krakow and set foot in this incredible city.

Krakow
Get all up in the streets of Krakow today - your day, your choice. Shop for amber in the UNESCO-listed Cloth Hall or visit a centuries-old synagogue in the Jewish district where you'll also discover the city's inner-hipster. Hang around for local Polish vibes and a night to remember.

Krakow to Cesky Krumlov, Czech Republic
Pay your respects at the former concentration camp Auschwitz-Birkenau. Sombre, but an important introduction to the region's history. Next: crack on to Cesky Krumlov. Tonight: check in and snooze.

Day 12
Cesky Krumlov to Prague
Keep your Frozen fantasies rolling as the medieval beauty reigns on in Prague. Fuel up on trdelník (pastry deliciousness) before a walking tour amongst spires and cobblestone streets. Suss out the castle deemed worthy by Guinness World Records as being the largest ancient castle in the world, cross medieval Charles Bridge and watch 'Death' toll the hour on an astronomical clock that's over 600 years old. The evening is all yours.
